Outdoor Living Areas: Your Questions Answered
Many homeowners have questions when it comes to building and installing outdoor living areas. Since helping people enjoy the luxury of a comfortable and attractive outdoor area is one of our specialties, it is our pleasure to answer any questions that you may have. We hear some questions frequently, and would like to take the opportunity to periodically answer some of our hardscaping FAQs here on our blog. Please contact us with any additional questions that you may have regarding hardscapes, landscaping or our company in particular.
- Q: How long will my installation take?
Every project is different, because at Omniscapes, we work carefully with each homeowner, taking into consideration your desires, needs, budget, existing landscaping and the characteristics of your lawn and garden. On average, it might take one to two weeks to install a paver driveway or patio, but for some projects, it might take a month, two months or even longer. The same timeframe might apply to a stamped concrete surface, again, taking into consideration all of the variables that might make the project take longer. If you are having a firepit installed, it would take about one day, while an outdoor fireplace would take approximately one week. When you have your consultation appointment, we can give you a better idea of how long your particular project will take.
- Q: What is the best time of year to get started?
Many homeowners are surprised to find out that we work all year long. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is; we can work through summer’s heat or winter’s cold most of the time. Our busiest time of year is spring through late summer, so you might have a slightly longer wait during the warmer months of the year. Our slowest time tends to be the winter months, from December to March. No matter what time of year it is, if you are ready to start work on a hardscape project, feel free to give us a call!
- Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?
This is an important question that you should not neglect to ask anyone doing work in, on or around your home. At Omniscapes, our materials come with a lifetime guarantee. That means that if a material were to break or be defective, we would replace it at no cost. Our labor has a three- to five-year warranty, depending on the project. We can give you specific details on that during your consultation appointment, or once we know exactly what type of project you are looking for.
Whenever you have questions, please call us so that we can take the time to make sure that your concerns are addressed. Also, when you schedule your consultation appointment, we will have time to talk to you in-depth about your particular project or situation. Please give us a call today to schedule your consultation if you are ready to take that step.
